FROZen Tranquility

This installation uses coloured ice cubes to manipulate light to transform a living room into a tranquil escape from the busy streets outside. Over time one can observe the ice melting and release colours that blend to produce a beautiful pattern that resembles light travelling through the tree leaves in a peaceful forest. The pattern is then projected onto the walls and ceiling of the space to produce a calming escape. Ice Watch by Olafur Eliasson informed this design by showcasing the versatile nature of ice as a material.
