Rediscovering Artistry

Rediscovering Artistry is a concept proposal for an exhibition featuring works from the Arts and Crafts Movement at the MUMA gallery. Through research, I discovered that the Arts and Crafts movement valued dents, hinges, and similar imperfections in their designs as it held evidence of the work that went into making the items.

For this proposal, I wanted to put a modern spin on the Arts and Crafts exhibition which was prevalent at the time of the movement. Utilising LED panels, Magnifying glasses, and speakers, I emphasized the overlooked aspects in the curated items to allow exhibition goers to not only view them but to experience how they were made.
