Day time installation

Night time installation

Rope pavilion
As the design transforms it alters the space within the Hansen hall to be used by the attendees of the Human Rights Arts and Film Festival. This design is particularly simple using only a few key materials, Rope being the main one. During the day the rope acts as a dividing mechanism and during the night time it creates a new kind of stage that brings people together. For this design, I drew inspiration from mechanisms that exist in nature that manipulate movement. Spiderwebs were particularly interesting as they showcased how thin rope-like structures could be used to trap creatures in a particular area.
Location: Hansen hall, State library Victoria, Melbourne
